About

Linda is a residential interior designer and a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and she is NCIDQ Board Certified per the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. She is a past recipient of the ASID "Designer of Distinction" award. Linda has been featured in many national and Detroit-area publications and local TV media.

Linda is one of the Michigan Design Center’s Featured Designers and as such is often called upon to participate in consumer events. She frequently lectures about one of her passions--the psychology of color and color trends in design.

As a residential designer with 40 years of experience, Linda focuses on partnering with her clients to visually create an interior that reflects the homeowners’ individual personality, lifestyle and dreams while maintaining a sense of timeless design.

Service is one of Linda's top priorities, both to her clients and her community. She has been an active member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce since 1994. As a member of the Best of Troy committee for many years, she understands and appreciates the importance of good design as good business in the public eye. Linda is also Executive Director of the Image and Arts Council of Troy (I/ACT) through which she works to promote and bring together artists throughout the Metro Detroit area via monthly meetings, workshops and special art events.

Linda’s love of design came at an early age. Raised by a seamstress mother and an artistic father, she designed, created and sewed outfits first for her dolls and then for herself, soon drafting her entire wardrobe.

Her passion for clothing design and one-of-a-kind creations led her into designing costumes for community theatre, especially in lavish musicals….for which she won awards.

After majoring in Art in college, Linda took her love of fabrics and color onto another path -- that of an award winning Interior Designer.
